Pippa Garner  F.I.S.T.D / A.I.S.T.D (dip) / C.D.E

 

 

Pippa trained at Sussex Dance Studios for 15 years before working professionally in theatre many times as ensemble Dance Captain. She holds teaching qualifications in Imperial Ballet, Modern Theatre and a Fellowship in Classical Greek, the later being her favourite and has won two national finals for Greek choreography. Her late teacher Elizabeth Marsiglia can be credited with giving Pippa her passion and love for dance, she was an inspiration and feels proud to have been taught by her.

 

As well as co owning Sussex Dance Studios Pippa is an Accredited Clinical Coder at Eastbourne District General Hospital and a qualified Sports Massage Therapist. When she isn’t dancing Pippa is usually busy planning her next trip to Walt Disney World, Florida!!

 

 

 

 

Lisa Innes (Jade Powers)  A.I.S.T.D / F.D.I

 

 

Lisa began her career dancing at the Sussex at the age of 2 where she enjoyed many successful years participating in the Eastbourne Music and Arts Festival.

 

Professionally Lisa has appeared in numerous productions all over the country, as well as working as lead singer of several bands.  Under her professional name Jade Powers, she has worked consistently as a soloist and supported many acts in her time, including Bradley Walsh, Michael Barrymore, Bobby Davro, Alvin Stardust and Paul Young.  One of Lisa’s most memorable experiences was performing as the headline act in Harere-Monomatapa Hotel in Zimbabwe.

 

More recently, Lisa has spent the last 20 years providing her students with her invaluable knowledge and expertise as the next generation are carefully trained.  She is loved and respected by many children and young adults fortunate to have worked under her guidance in numerous amateur dramatic productions, where she has consistently received overwhelmingly positive reviews as Director.

 

 

 

 

Emma Webster  A.I.S.T.D

 

 

Emma trained at Laine Theatre Arts for three years and graduated with her I.S.T.D Associate in Tap.

She has performed in many pantomimes and shows both in the U.K and abroad, working with Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Status Quo, George Takei, Bernadette & Denise Nolan and many more.

Emma then went on to perform in Spirit of the Dance for eight years touring the U.K, Europe, the Far East and the U.S.A, during which time she became Dance Captain and Company Manager for the show, working alongside choreographers Alan Harding and Brian Rodgers.

 

She is now delighted to be working back at the Sussex School of Dance where her training began and would like to thank all the teachers for their help and support and welcoming her back to her original dancing “family”.
