The Sussex School of Dance & Performing Arts

Sussex Dance Studios (formerly The Sussex School of Dance) has been established

in Eastbourne since the 1940’s. Current owners Lisa Innes and Pippa Garner originally trained here

and after performing professionally for many years returned to teach and took over ownership in 2001.

The Studios offer full dance training in Imperial Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Classical Greek and Musical Theatre. Regular examinations sessions are held with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and students are encouraged to take part in dance festivals and displays to further their performance skills and overall technique. This has a very positive effect on their social skills, confidence at school and teaches them to work together with their fellow dance classmates as a team.
